Born in Rhode Island, I am a veteran journalist with thirty years in local and network television news, including five years at CNNI. I use my reporting experience to research my material while also drawing from my China travel journals. My other books include the urban fantasy Zebulon Angell and the Shadow Army and the YA eco sci-fi novel Come the Eventide. I live in Atlanta with my wife, Ping, our son, and too many cats.
